SSC CPT and DEST Exam Guide

Staff Selection Commission CPT/DEST Examination

Staff Selection Commission is an organization under the Government of India, which has been targeted to recruit the candidates for various grade B and C government services. The commission is associated with Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).

The commission released the notification of Combined Graduate Level Examination, known by its acronym CGLE-2016, last year in the month of February. After a lot of amendments and modifications in the examination process, the preliminary, mains, and descriptive examination have been completed by the commission successfully. Presently, all the aspirants who had taken tier-3 i.e. the Descriptive examination are keenly waiting for the result.

However, the commission is going to take the tier-4 (CPT/DEST/Document Verification) prior to the result of tier-3, so that it can release the final merit list once all the procedures are done.

As all the candidates who have successfully cleared tier-2 are going to attend the CPT/DEST/Doc Ver. Therefore we planned to write this brief information blog which will help not only the candidates who are appearing the first time but also others who had already taken this test.

In Which Test I Have To Appear?

According to the notification of SSC, 35,906 candidates have cleared the tier 2 examination. The commission uploaded four lists of results i.e. List 1, 2, 3, and 4 which were for the post of Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Section Officer (CSS and MEA), junior statistical officer, and all other posts respectively. List 4 candidates have to appear Document Verification/DEST.
