Economic Investigator
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 – 34800 + GP Rs.4200
Age: Min 18 years and Max 28 years.
Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Economics or Statistics or Commerce from a recognized University and three years experience in collection/ tabulation and analysis of statistical data or research in economic field in any department of the Central Govt. or State Govt. or in any organization of reputed or statutory body.
Desirable:
Training in any branch of Statistics or research in the field of Economic and knowledge or computer application.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be on the basis of performance in personal interview.

Applications format should be typed neatly in Hindi or English. Application and copies of the required certificates must be sent by ordinary post only in a cover super scribed ” Application For The Post  Of Economic Investigator” The application should be addressed to Director (Economic Research) , Khadi And Village Industries Commission, 3, Irla Road, Vile Parle(West), Mumbai-400056 within 30 days from the publication of this advertisement (For candidates staying in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshwadeep & Minicoy, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of J & K State, Lahul and Spiti Districts., Pangi subdivision of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, this will be 45 days from the date of publication of this advertisement.). Candidates already employed in Government / Public Sector Undertakings shall be required to produce a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer, at the time of the interview. Candidates are required to paste one recent passport size photograph in the space provided for in the application format and sign it across. They are advised to retain two copies of the same photograph for use at the time of written / interview.

  • In addition to the number of posts mentioned, a panel on the basis of merit list will be prepared as recommended by the DSSCs  for filling up of vacancies occurring within one year  under DR quota subject to vacancy being live.
