Recruitment of Specialist Officers in the areas of Information Technology (IT) & Security Officers-2008

Central Bank of India, a leading Public Sector Bank, invites applications from Indian Citizens for appointment of 200 Information Technology Officers and 6 Assistant Security Officers under Specialist Category in various Scales.

Assistant Security Officer : 06 posts in JMG-I cadre
Age : 21-40 years
Scale of Pay : Rs.10,000-470/6-12820-500/3-14320-560/7-18240.
Qualification
A Graduate from a recognized university with 50% Marks aggregate.
Basic knowledge on Computer applications (Certificate from a Government recognized Training Institute is required)
Experience
Minimum 5 years experience as a Commissioned Officer in the Armed Force in the name of Captain (Army) or equivalent from Navy and Air Force. OR Officers not below the name of Deputy Commandant in Para military Force (BSF, CRPF, ITBP etc.). OR A Police Officer not below the name of Asstt. Superintendent of Police.
Documentary proof of the relevant work experience as above must be provided along with the application form

Information Technology Officer : 150 posts in MMG-II Cadre
Age : 21-38 years
Scale of Pay Rs. 13820-500/1-14320-560/10-19920
Qualification: BE/BTech (Computers, IT, Electronics & Telecommunication) / B.Sc (Engg) 4 yrs / MCA
Experience:2 years post qualification experience.
OR
Any Graduate with Computer Qualification (Minimum 6 months Diploma Course or Certificate Course in Computers with minimum 150 hours one stretch training) with Experience of 4 years as an IT Officer in IT Dept. of a Bank

Information Technology Officer : 50 posts in MMG-III Cadre
Age : 25-42 years
Scale of Pay : Rs. 18240-560/5-21040-620/2-22280
Qualification: BE/BTech (Computers, IT, Electronics & Telecommunication) / B.Sc (Engg) 4 yrs / MCA
Experience: 5 years post qualification experience.
OR
Any Graduate with Computer Qualification (Minimum 6 months Diploma Course or Certificate Course in Computers with minimum 150 hours one stretch training) with Experience of 7 years as an IT Officer in IT Dept. of the Bank.
