<p align="justify"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-4941" title="fresher-resume-structure-model" src="http://www.fresherstimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/fresher-resume-structure-model.jpg" alt="fresher-resume-structure-model" width="397" height="298" /><br />
</span></p>
<p align="justify"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;">Content is the key factor in any resume, and should necessarily contain all your relevant strengths that you want to convey to your potential employer. </span></p>
<p align="justify"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;">The following is the basic structure or model that your resume should follow:</span></p>
<ol type="i">
<li><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Objective:</span> In one or two lines you have to set out the exact reason for applying for that particular job. However, if you are going for a job fair which involves a number of avenues, do not put in this as it would narrow down your prospects to your potential employer.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Educational Qualifications:</span> Put down all the relevant educational qualifications that you have bagged during all those years of your academic life. Make sure you highlight your strengths as this is the most important section your potential employers would look into.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Skill Sets that are Job-related:</span> Put down the relevant skills that are related to your job profile. Remember to put down only the RELEVANT skills.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Knowledge of Computer Applications:</span> A basic knowledge of computer is required in all job profiles today, thus make it a point to highlight all the computer programs that you are proficient in.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Certifications:</span> Add other relevant diplomas/certificate programs that you have undergone. <span id="more-4940"></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Military Skills:</span> Put down your military skills or NCC career. Though seemingly out of the track, these are important to test leadership skills and the capacity to work under pressure, which are important criteria for many potential employers.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Achievements at School/College:</span> Some achievements while at school/college may be relevant, like winning debate competitions, elocution competitions etc.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Published Works:</span> If you have an article or chapter published in any journal/newspaper/book, you have an edge over many candidates, hence DO NOT forget to show it off in your resume.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Social Service or Voluntary Work:</span> These things contribute aesthetic value to your resume, while your potential employer becomes aware of your philanthropic interests, and this holds you up in some esteem in his eyes.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Internships:</span> Highlight all the internships you have undertaken during or after your academic stint in various other organizations in the same industry, and add recommendations from your bosses out there, if possible.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Projects related to your Field of Specialization:</span> DO NOT forget to add projects pertaining to your area of specialization that you have worked on as a part of your academics, or during internships. For example, while applying for a job in an IPR firm, do not forget to highlight the IPR topics you have dealt with in your project undertaken as a part of your IPR course while pursuing law.</span></li>
</ol>
<p align="justify"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;">This is the bare outline. Remember to put yourself in the reader’s shoes and evaluate the resume once you are done drafting it. </span></p>
<p align="justify"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;">Be extremely careful of the grammar, punctuation and spellings. Add a formal, standard style of writing, and you are all set to go! </span></p>
