Application on prescribed format are invited from the citizen of India for filling up the following posts by direct recruitment / deputation / Re-employment on contractual basis:
Professors at pay of Rs. 37400-67000 + GP 8700 and age 45 years in the following specialty:
Psychiatric Social Work: 01 Post
Clinical Psychology: 01 Post
Psychiatric Nursing: 02 Posts
Associate Professors at pay of Rs. 15600-39100 + GP 7600 and age 45 years in the following specialty:
Psychiatric Social Work: 02 Posts

Assistant Professors at pay of Rs. 15600-39100 + GP 6600 and age 45 years in the following specialty:

Essential Qualification: For Professor (Sl No. 1-3): i) First or Second Class (55%) Master’s Degree in concerned specialty, (ii) M.Phil. or PG Diploma/DMSP (2 years Course) in concerned specialty. (iii) Ph.D/D.Sc. in concerned specialty from a recognized Institutions/University.
Essential Experience: 14 years teaching experience out of which 6 years teaching experience as Associate Professor in Psychiatric Social Work/Clinical Psychology/Psychiatric Nursing. Desirable: i) Research/published work in indexed journals.
Essential Qualification: For Associate Professor (Sl No. 4-6): i) First or Second Class (55%) Master’s Degree in concerned specialty, (ii) M.Phil. or PG Diploma/DMSP (2 years Course) in concerned specialty. Desirable: (iii) Ph.D./D.Sc. in concerned specialty from a recognized Institutions/University.
Essential Experience: 8 years teaching & research experience out of which 5years as Assistant Professor in Psychiatric Social Work/Clinical Psychology/Psychiatric Nursing. Desirable: i) Research/published work in indexed journals.
Essential Qualification: For Assistant Professor (Sl No. 7-9): ): i) First or Second Class (55%) Master’s Degree in concerned specialty, (ii) M.Phil. or PG Diploma/DMSP (2 years Course) in concerned specialty. Desirable: (iii) Ph.D./D.Sc. in concerned specialty from a recognized Institutions/University.
Essential Experience: 3 years teaching & research as Psychiatric Social Worker/Clinical Psychologist/ Psychiatric Nursing Tutor/ Lecturer in a Psychiatry Department/ recognized teaching Institutions.
Desirable: i) Research /published work in indexed journals.
Essential Qualification: For Clinical Psychologist (Sl No. 10): ): i) First or Second Class (55%) Master’s Degree in concerned specialty, (ii) M.Phil. or DMSP (2 years Course) in concerned specialty.
Essential Experience: 2 years teaching & research experience as Clinical Psychologist in a Mental Hospital, Child Guidance Clinic or Psychiatric Department of a General Hospital/recognized teaching Institutions.
Desirable: i) Research/published work in indexed journals. (ii) Working knowledge on local/regional language. Note: 2 years essential experience may be relaxed at the discretion of the Selection Committee if a person is found otherwise suitable.
General Conditions :
(1)Candidates who do not fulfill requirement of advertisement need not apply.
(2) Based on actual requirement of the Institute, the number of posts may vary.
(3) Allowances will be as per Central Government rates as adopted by this Institute from time to time
(4) Candidates working is State/Central Govt. / PSU/Autonomous Body must apply through proper channel or submit “No objection certificate”
(5) In case of deputation, vigilance clearance/ integrity certificate from parent department will be required. (6) Appointments in case of direct recruitment will be on probation for 2 (two) years
(7) Relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Central Govt. norms.
(8) Incomplete application or applications received after the last date will be summarily rejected.
(9) The application is to accompany with a Bank Draft of Rs. 100/- to be drawn in favour of the Director, LGBRIMH, Tezpur and attested copies of certificate/one PP size photograph so as to reach to the Administrative Officer, LGBRIMH, Tezpur-784001 latest by 26.02.2010.
(10) Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.
