Economic Investigator: 03 Posts
Pay: Rs. 9300-34800 + GP Rs. 4200
Educational Qualification :
Bachelors Degree in Economics or Statistics or Commerce from a recognized university and three years experience in collection/tabulation and analysis of statistical data or research in economic field in any department of the Central govt. or State Govt. or in any organization of reputed or statutory body.
Desirable:
Training in any branch of statistics or research in the field of Economics & knowledge of Computer Applications.

Jr. Sub Editor (Publicity): 01 Post
Pay: Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 2800
Educational Qualification :
Bachelors degree in Arts/Commerce from a recognized University with Diploma in Journalism or Degree in Journalism
AND
Three years experience in publication/ editorial proof reading/ writing of articles/to edit news items/ translation of Hindi to English and vise versa/ to prepare the lay out of news items in any department of Central Government or State Government or in any organization of repute or statutory body.
Desirable: Knowledge of use of Personal Computer/ Word Processing/ Data entry/ Editing

Auditor-II: 03 Posts
Pay: Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 2400
Educational Qualification : Bachelors Degree in Commerce or Degree in any discipline with Diploma in Accountancy.
Desirable: Masters Degree in Commerce and knowledge of use of Personal Computer/ Word Processing /Date entry.

Asstt. Development Officer (Marketing): 02 Posts
Pay: Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 2800
Educational Qualification :
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or pass in SSC or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University.
AND
Three years regular service in production, Marketing and packing in any department of Central/ State Government or in any organization or statutory body.
Desirable: Degree/Diploma in Marketing Management & Knowledge of Computer application.

Asstt Development Officer (REBT): 02 Posts
Pay: Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 2800
Educational Qualification :
Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Telecommunication etc. Engineering. Computer/IT, Bio-technology OR Degree in Science with Maths or Physics OR Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Telecommunication etc. Engineering, Computer/IT.

Sup-III (KC): 02 Posts
Pay: Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 1900
Educational Qualification :
Diploma in Textile Technology or pass in SSC or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board with Khadi Karya Karta Course/ Khadi Katai Visharad Course/ Amber Karya Karta Course/ Bunai Karya Karta Course Certificate Course in textile conducted by Khadi and Village Industries Commission/ State/ Central Government.
Desirable: Degree in Textile Technology.

Sup-III (FBI): 02 Posts
Pay: Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 1900
Educational Qualification :
Diploma in Agriculture/ Biochemistry or Microbiology from recognized University/ Institute.

Sup-III (ABFPI): 01 Post

Diploma in Agriculture or Sugar Technology or Oil or Fat or Chemical Engineering or Food Technology

Steno-II (English): 05 Posts
Pay: Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 2400
Educational Qualification :
Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board with 100/ 40 w.p.m. in English shorthand and English typing respectively.
Desirable: Bachelors Degree in any discipline, working experience as Stenographer in any reputed organization and use of personal computer/ word processing/ data entry

Lower Division Clerk: 05 Posts

Educational Qualification :
12th pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board and minimum speed 30 w.p.m. in English typewriting or 25 w.p.m in Hindi typewriting on Manual Typewriter OR A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH@9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word)

Lower Division Clerk (NEZ): 05 Posts
Pay: Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 1900
Educational Qualification :
12th pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board and minimum speed 30 w.p.m. in English typewriting or 25 w.p.m in Hindi typewriting on Manual Typewriter OR A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH@9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word)

Eligibility:
(A) National Citizenship
A candidate must be either i) a citizen of India or ii) a subject of Nepal or iii) a subject of Bhutan or iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/interview conducted by the KVIC  but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificates have been issued to him by the Government of India.

Note : (A) Candidates belonging to reserved categories for which no vacancy has been announced are free to apply against vacancies announced for Unreserved / General category.
(B) Applications received for posts which are not advertised at all or post not advertised in a particular State/UT will not be entertained.
(C) The recruitment would be on State/UT- wise basis. Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State/ UT only and have to appear for the examination from a Centre of that particular State/ UT.

Age:
Not below 18 years and not above 28 years for Sr. No. 1 to 3 posts, 18 years and not above 30 years for Sr. No. 4 post and 18 years and not above 27 years for Sr. No. 5 to 11 posts as on the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India (and not the closing date prescribed for Far Flung Area).

Relaxation:
SC/ST – by 5 years
OBC – by 3 years
HI/OH – by 10 years
Ex-Serviceman – by 3 years (in addition to the usual period of service in the Defence forces subject to a maximum age of 50 years)
Govt./ Employees of KVIC – 35 years.

Selection Procedure :
a) All eligible candidates will be called for a Written Examination which will be of Objective type consisting of any or all of the following viz., (i) Reasoning Ability,  (ii) Numerical Aptitude (iii) Clerical Aptitude (iv) English Language and (v) General Awareness;
b) Candidates have to pass in each of the Objective Tests separately. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective Tests.
c) Depending upon the number of vacancies, only those candidates who rank sufficiently high in the objective test will be called for interview. Mere eligibility / pass in the test shall not vest any right in a candidate for being called for interview.
d) Final selection will be on the basis of the ranking accorded after adding the marks obtained in the Objective Tests and Interview;
e) The detailed information regarding the Written Examination will be given in the information handout which will be sent to the candidates along with the call letter for the Written Examination.
