Lady Shri Ram College For Women (LSR) is Looking For Ph.D Candidates For Professors Posts at New Delhi 2010
Applications are invited for the following permanent/Temporary posts:
Assistant Professors-Posts-21
Pay Scale: Rs.15600–39100 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.6000 plus usual allowances admissible under Delhi University rules. Prescribed forms, obtainable from the College (Office of the Principal’s P.A.)
Qualification:
Good academic record with at least 55% marks (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST or those who passed their Master’s Degree prior to 19.09.1991 and hold a Ph.D. Degree) or an equivalent grade of B in the seven point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C. D. E & F at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.. Candidates should have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by the U.G.C./CSIR or similar test accredited by the U.G.C. M.A. Psychology / Applied Psychology / MSW / M.Sc. Biological Sciences/M.Sc. Physical Sciences/M.A. Political Science/M.A. Sociology/MA History/M.A. English / Hindi.

The Applications should reach the Principal, Lady Shri Ram College (LSR), Lajpat Nagar-IV, New Delhi-110024 latest by May 17, 2010. 3% posts will be reserved for the Physically Handicapped candidates.

Notes:
NET / SLET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of Lecturers/ Assistant Professors in Universities / Colleges / Institutions. Provided, however, that candidates, who are or have been awarded Ph.D. Degree in compliance of the “University Grants Commission (minimum standard and procedure for award of Ph.D Degree), Regulations 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET / SLET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities / Colleges/ Institutions.” The Selection Committee/Governing Body reserve the right to change the nature and number of posts. Candidates already in employment should send their application through proper channels. Candidates, who fulfill only the minimum qualifications for the above positions, may not all be called for interviews.
