• Strong fundamentals of computer science, OS, networking, etc
• Basics of LAMP architecture and understanding of the HTTP protocol
• Should have knowledge in mysql, php, apache, linux, C/C++

Optional:

• Security implications of web development
• Shell scripting
• Benchmarking and performance optimization

Education: B.Sc / BE / B.Tech (Computer science) / BCA / MCA

Job description:

• The candidate will be expected to work on the development of several components, using php, C/C++, apache, mysql as well as certain search platforms in a linux environment.
• Responsibilities will include the development, regression testing, and benchmarking of several components.
