About company: Digicaptions India Private Limited (www.softitler.com) is located on M.G. Road, and operating in Bangalore since the last 7 years. We are a leading global provider of quality Blu-ray & DVD Authoring/QC, Subtitling, Closed Captioning and Translation Services for major Hollywood and UK motion pictures studios, film festivals, broadcast and cable networks. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Deluxe Digital Studios which is part of Deluxe Film Labs, headquartered in LA.

Designation: Quality assurance engineer

Experience: 0 to 2 years

Skills:

  • Some exposure/experience in film and sound editing is preferred
  • Understanding of graphics, imagery and sound specifications, such as colours, resolution, audio glitches etc is a plus
  • Must be comfortable with a computer and in tune with the latest technologies
  • English written and spoken skills are essential
  • Keen interest in films and cinematography
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Premier, or other video/audio SW a plus

Education: Degree in Film Studies / Film Production / Bachelor’s in Communication with a Specialization in Film

Job description:

  • Watch movies and debug various formats and language streams for Blu-ray process
  • Identify audio and video errors in dubbed and /or subtitled streams
  • Create detailed Quality Assurance (QA) logs and reports for delivery to our authoring facility
  • Collaborate with others in the Blu-ray and DVD department
